Our prices start at $9.00 per serving with a minimum charge of $400. Sculptures, flowers, etc are additional. Keep in mind that The average cost of a wedding cake is $543.00, according to The Bridal Association of America.
The cakes that you see in magazines and on TV average in the $12.00 to $15.00 per serving range. We feel that our quality and artistry is as good or better than you will find anywhere. The kind of cakes decorating we do requires a lot of time and artistic talent. You are buying work of art, not just cake.

Yes we do. Delivery charges generally run about $50/hour and our delivery area is Tampa Bay, Florida.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is
required to reserve your order; the remainder, along with any equipment rental charges and the delivery charge, is due at least
two weeks prior to your event. Your order is not confirmed until we have received your signed contract and 50% non-refundable deposit.
Payment
can be made by cash, debit or credit card (Visa, American Express, or Mastercard). Cake orders placed with less than two weeks notice require payment
in full by credit or debit card at the time of ordering. Cakes ordered less than one month prior to the event will be limited in scope of design.
If you cancel your order, your balance payment is refundable provided
we are notified at least five (5) business days prior to the event.
There is no payment refund on orders canceled within five (5) business days of the event.
Design appointments are held for most
cake orders. There is a non-refundable $25 deposit required for appointments, payable by credit card. The $25 deposit will be deducted
from the final cost of your cake.
Event dates are held for you through the date of your appointment or quote, and five (5) business days
afterwards. If we do not receive a signed contract and 50% deposit within five (5) business days of your appointment or quote, your date may
become unavailable.

We use milk, eggs, wheat, tree nuts and peanuts in our bakery. Let us know what your dietary needs are and we will work with you as best we can.

Due to health reasons, my wife needs to avoid soy. I had a very hard time finding a birthday cake for her since most bakeries in the
county use frozen cakes that already have soy (yes, all grocery store bakeries and some other specialty shops). Cake City makes theirs
fresh without shortening and was very accommodating in that they obtained soy-free chocolate for their filling in order to make me a
soy-free cake. And it was the most delicious cake our family has ever had! Since then, Nel has also gone out of her way to frost a
cupcake and sprinkle it with soy-free chocolate for me, and my wife also loves the chocolate croissants (again, specially made with
soy-free chocolate). Needless to say, we love Cake City, and the owners have been nothing but helpful and considerate.

My wife was turning the Big $)!!!. I wanted to have a special evening with family and friends to mark the occasion. She had always wanted
a Princess Cake, pink icing etc. I live in Safety Harbor and had passed Cake City daily on my way to work. As I planned the party, I wanted
to have a special cake not just a Princess cake but something nicer. It just happened that a friend of mine was visiting and told me that she
drives from Bellaire to Safety Harbor to purchase Nel's pastries including the famous Macarons but mostly for the cakes that are her favorite.
She said that when she moved from Boston to the area she googled "Italian Pastry cream" and found that Cake City is the only place in our area
that does it without shortening and uses real butter. I took that as the best recommendation as I wanted a cake that tasted as good as it
looked. My meeting with Nel and Norm was great. With a cup of coffee in one hand and a Macaron in the other, Nel helped me come up with a

I recently had Cake City do a Dave Matthews themed cake for my brother's birthday. It had a fire dancer on the top and the lyrics
to "Tripping Billies". He was in town for the [Dave Matthews] concert and I wanted to surprise him. The cake turned out fabulous! So much in fact
that my brother didn't want to cut into it. He actually cut around the fire dancer to leave it intact so he could show his friends.
We had to take pictures for him. My whole family thought it was the best tasting cake ever! For what it's worth, I would definitely
have Cake City do another cake for me. They were very professional and did a great job!

My sister got a cake for me and it was nothing short of awesome. My jaw still has a bruise on
it from hitting the floor after she gave it to me! The cake was masterfully designed and was pure bliss to eat! Needless to say,
